During the 2021 Annual Fall Conference, FEMSA and FAMA, along with The Westin Tampa Waterside, are committed to keeping our members and attendees safe and prevent the spread of COVID-19. While attending the conference and enjoying your time in Tampa, we ask that you follow the current CDC recommended protocols of wearing masks, social distancing, and the use of hand sanitizer.
Westin has implemented a multi-pronged approach to meet the health and safety requirements, known as their “Commitment to Clean” standards, and is committed to providing a safe environment that aligns with protocols to defeat COVID-19. Their experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection, and hotel operations are redefining their cleaning and safety standards, which are reflected below:

Hand sanitizing stations are being installed at hotel entrances, front desks, elevator banks, and meeting spaces.
Social Distancing
Reminders are posted in public spaces to maintain social distancing with partitions at check-in to provide an extra level of precaution.
Guest Rooms
Rigorous cleaning protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants with wipes in each room.
New Cleaning Technologies
