This presentation will provide several examples how industrial and automotive companies can successfully manage supply chain disruptions in the short term, while creating more resilient supply chains, organizations, and processes to prepare themselves for the future.


Gerrit Reepmeyer is experienced in management consulting and industry by having held senior leadership positions in steel, energy and utility, and technology industries, including overseeing $3.5B in procurement spend for a large North American steelmaker. Gerrit is adept in multiple functional areas and has specific expertise in driving turnarounds and EBITDA-generating improvements. Previously, he was vice president of procurement at Severstal North America, principal at E.ON, consultant for McKinsey & Co., and chief operating officer at Guardhat, an equipment provider for industrial customers. He holds a PhD in technology management from the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland.
